Here are a few pics from today's trail run at Ardbeg, Ontario (Black Lake). We ran the Black Lake trail which was AMAZING!!! Thanks to CanadaH1 for setting things up. There were only 3 of us (2 H1's and my wee little H3) but we had a blast!

The pic of the red H1 going down, then up the other side of the drop off in no way shows the true scale of that obstacle!! His truck was 8ft off the bottom and still 10ft from the top.... very steep and had fractures that are 8-10 inches across running across the rock face. We interesting getting up it!!!

Thanks brother! It is a very fun trail. Has just about everything you could want from water crossings to tight technical sections to rock crawls..... Was my first time on this particular trail up there and man was it worth the trip! Took the 3 of us 5hrs to complete with a lunch stop so wasn't a too long of a day. One of the very nice things about this area is if you camp you have wheel in to most of the good camping spots and it is all free to use!!!Originally Posted by lchase3t

Nice trip , thanks for sharing. Looks like a good place to crawl.
Going to set up an organized event for there for next year. Probably looking at early October to avoid bugs and heat.
