Our Red 2006 H3 Adventure build next phase...

Our company red 2006 H3 adventure has definitely undergone changes since we purchased it three years ago...

    Outfitter Design HD tierods
Outfitter Design DIY1 diff bushing kit
Outfitter Design Steering rack bushing/ clamp kit
    37" super swamper Irok NDs
    Outfitter Design roof rails
    Smittybilt Roof top tent
    Outfitter Design Spare tire rack
Outfitter Design HD dana 44 IFS diff w/ ARB locker
    Custom dual pump onboard air
yellow top battery with dual terminals
    ARB bumper with 12k winch
    Schwarttzy aux inpux
NP241 Manual Transfercase swap with Outfitter Design cable shifter
Outfitter Design HD front driveshaft (eliminates CV)
Outfitter Design Prototype semi solid HD motor/ transmission mounts

This has been a great reliable setup for a couple years now but with ~150,000 miles its time for a full drivetrain swap.

    6.2L with full tune
    6l80E
Keep the NP241 for now but switch to 32 spline input until we have time to build a dana 300 4:1.
    CSF full aluminum radiator

Along with driveline mods its time for some well needed other mods:
    Custom rock rails
    Full underbody protection to transfercase
Custom mounted 7" LED headlights with bezel
Just ordered a prototype set of our new lower control arm bushing kit

We are hoping to drive cross country in March to do a Moab trip so time is going to be a killer on this project!

We had the fab shop that does all of our water jet and welding retire and close so we have been sorting out accounts and pricing at new shops. There are a few more adjustments we are doing to the diff before it's ready to put into production but I promise we are doing our best. We want to put one into my personal alpha with a torsen to confirm oilpan clearance as well but the shop is 6 weeks backlogged right now on that order...

I can't believe you have been wheeling it this long without rock rails. The pinch seams must look like alligator teeth.

A six speed would liven up the I5 and improve the Alpha performance/mileage. Curious to see the cost of such a modification for those of us keeping our rigs for the foreseeable future.

We are working on a V8/ 6 speed repower kit so no 6speed with I5 unfortunately.

Funny enough I've only gently tapped the pinch seam once after all these years wheeling H3s on pretty crazy new england trails. Honestly didnt want to build them until we knew for sure that we would not need a 2" bodylift vs 1" for the 6l90 to clear the transmission tunnel so that they were tucked up as tight as possible.

Pulled the transfercase, transmission, hood, radiator and wiring harnesses today. Next weekend need to rebuild an H2 limo front suspension and steering but hope to also pull the motor and start cleaning.
