    Re: H3T Production Information

It'd be way cool to figure out the complete build sequence of the H3T's, then I'd be able to put a sticker on my '09 I5 5-spd Adventure that says #xx of 1118 and also #x of 56!

They are only talking about the 2010 for some reason

They were correct about the 945 units... no idea where they got info on another "321" units, it sounds like they are talking out their ass because GM never published production info that verifies that. Actually a lot of the info sounds like BS.

As for Alpha trucks, that is a big mystery. There had been a fleet order for 845 trucks (which is why the plant remained open) and it had been assumed at first they were just base automatics. There has been some evidence now that at least some of those 2010 fleet trucks were Alpha's... how many, I don't know. We may never know, the info was never made public.

What we do know is GM's breakdown of Alpha trucks was about 50%... so we know there is about ~48 Alpha trucks outside of the fleet. Inside the fleet... no idea.

Anyway, this is a pretty sh1tty article overall, typical TFL garbage... they don't touch on a lot of stuff that made the H3T's special. AWD, Cast Iron Diffs, front and rear lockers, 4:1 t-case, 4.56 gearing.... etc.

    Good example:
the five-cylinder only had 16 mpg combined
BS... my window sticker, converted to US-MPG I get 16mpg in the city... and 22mpg on the highway, and in real life I can beat that easily.

    Re: H3T Production Information

I remember reading that a long time ago, just as word came down that Hummer was halting production as I was at the peak of searching for mine. I think I read it on Hummerguy or GM news. The 2010 models had been in production a week or a few days when GM corporate told Hummer, Pontiac, Saab, etc. To get on the brakes and stop production and a few days later HERTZ ordered their 845 Alpha, cloth, sunroof, backup camera, xm/6 disc, bone basic mechanical trucks before the tooling and assembly parts were torn out and scrapped. From the research I got from GM working for a dealership at the time, all 845 were White, black, or silver.
All I wanted was a 2010, dark gray, Alpha, offroad, sunroof, camera with cloth, it became a search to find one of 3 for a 2010 model in North America, so I caved when I found a 2009 in Kentucky, with everything I wanted AND a slantback. Unfortunately my dealer slacked off for three weeks and didn't even bother to get it ordered, so it went to auction. I then found the same truck in Texas, vin said it was an offroad packaged unit, when it got here, the former owner either blew the t case or both diffs because it didn't have the oem lockers, t case or locker switches in it.

    Re: H3T Production Information

Another article with (wrong) claims about production numbers

    http://blog.consumerguide.com/one-2009-hummer-h3t/

All told, Hummer sold 692 H3T in 2008, and 2046 in 2009, a small number of which were 2010 models.

I swear, journalism involving research has become a lost art.

5 speed manual or automatic transmission? If I am correct there were 56 built with the manual trans over the 2009-10 production run.

    Re: H3T Production Information

There were 675 2009 H3T Hummers made that year.
I actually own the 1st 3.7 L5 Hummer H3T w/Adventure package ever made according to my VIN number.
In other words... I own the first Hummer H3T 3.7 L5 produced by GM.
    Life really is an adventure...

And you got this information that matches nothing anyone else has heard or seen from?

    Re: H3T Production Information

actually Mutaint this information came directly from GM. they made 675 2009 H3T and 443 2010 H3T. if you go down the list of VIN #'s which are in order of production, you can clearly see that MINE was the 1st 5 cyl made. So instead of discrediting me, do some actual research. I thought you were smarter than this!

Well you are obviously the only person in the world to see this "List".
Please let the rest of us who know nothing of HUMMERs learn your overwhelming knowledge of such things.
In other words post the dam "list" or a link to this mystery "list" you say you came directly from GM or STFU!
Wikipedia, tweeter and Bookface are NOT GM.

    Re: H3T Production Information

Maybe I should have mentioned that these are H3T's with the "Adventure" package. Not all other models. Maybe that would have saved the embarrassment and your foul reply.
